Our structural steel plant is based in Tangier, in the Mghogha industrial zone. That is where your frames, columns and purlins are detailed, fabricated and inspected before being erected on your site.
A structural steel plant in Tangier
The INTEC BATI plant is located on Route de Tétouan, in the Mghogha industrial zone (lot 23). With 12,000 m² of fully automated workshop space, it produces up to 1,000 tonnes of structural steel per month.
Fabricating in Tangier keeps us close to projects in the region: members arrive on site in erection sequence, and our teams can react quickly if an adjustment is needed. You can also discover our workshop on the home page.
From 3D model to erected steel
1. 3D modelling
The engineering office models the entire building in Tekla Structures: frames, purlins, bracing and connections.
2. Shop drawings
Fabrication and assembly drawings produced in AutoCAD, ready for the workshop.
3. Optimised cutting
Nesting and cutting lists in LogiBarre and ProNest to reduce offcuts, then cutting on CNC machines.
4. Assembly and welding
Members are assembled and welded in the shop by qualified teams.
5. Inspection and marking
Every piece is inspected and marked before shipping, in the order set by the erection schedule.
6. Erection on site
Our crews erect the structure, then install the roofing and cladding.
What we fabricate
We fabricate the complete structure of an industrial building: columns and portal frames, roof purlins and cladding rails, bracing, plus the envelope: roofing, cladding, gutters and skylights. Sectional doors and loading docks complete logistics buildings.
These structures are used for factories and workshops as well as warehouses, steel hangars and extensions of existing buildings.
Close to the region's industrial zones
From Mghogha we support projects across the Tangier region: Tanger Automotive City, Tanger Free Zone, the Tanger Med platform, the Gzenaya industrial zone and Tetouan. Being nearby makes site visits, progress meetings and quick responses much easier.
