An integrated steel contractor, from design to erection

Part of the INTEC Industrie group, INTEC BATI has been building in steel for more than 18 years. What sets us apart is that we control the whole chain: our engineering office designs the structure, our Tangier plant fabricates the members, and our erection crews assemble them on your site.

For you, that means a single point of contact, schedules that do not depend on a subcontractor, and quality checked in the shop before every shipment. More than 538,000 m² of buildings have come out of this organisation.

What we build in structural steel

Factories and production plants

Clear-span production buildings designed around your lines, your flows and your future extensions.

Warehouses and logistics centres

Clear height suited to racking, slabs designed for the loads, sectional doors and loading docks.

Steel hangars

Storage or workshop hangars, open or clad, with insulated roofing and natural light through skylights.

Plant extensions

Extensions of existing buildings, coordinated with your operations to limit the impact on production.

Buildings with integrated offices

Offices and interior fit-out delivered within the same project as the industrial area.

Building envelope

Insulated roofing and cladding, gutters and skylights: we hand over a closed building, not just a frame.

Why choose a steel structure for an industrial building?

Wide clear spans

Steel portal frames free up the floor, giving more flexibility for machines, storage and circulation.

A shorter build

The steel is fabricated in our plant while the foundations are being built. Erection starts as soon as the footings are ready.

Easy to extend

A steel frame can be lengthened later, and an extension can be planned from day one.

Factory precision

Members are cut and drilled on CNC machines, straight from the engineering office's 3D model.

A recyclable material

Steel can be recycled and dismantled; combined with an insulated envelope, it supports a more energy-efficient building.

Industrial-scale production capacity

Our fully automated Tangier plant has 12,000 m² of workshop space and produces around 1,000 tonnes of structural steel per month. The group runs 2 plants and 3 sites in Morocco, with 550 employees, 20% of them engineers and technicians.

This capacity lets us take on large projects: 150,000 m² for Sentury Tire in 10 months, or 60,000 m² for GMD Metal delivered in two phases. See how we work in our steel fabrication plant in Tangier.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build a steel-frame industrial building?

It depends on the size and the scope. For example, we delivered 15,000 m² for Aptiv in 6 months, 35,000 m² for Valeo in 7 months and 150,000 m² for Sentury Tire in 10 months.

Do you work everywhere in Morocco?

Yes. From our Tangier plant we deliver projects in the Tangier – Tetouan region, in Kenitra, in Casablanca – Nouaceur and along the Rabat – Aïn Aouda corridor.

Can you extend an existing steel building?

Yes, plant extensions are part of our core business. We assess the existing structure and organise the works around your operations.
